What’s for Dinner: October Meal Ideas and Recipes

Each month, as an Amex Health plan member, you will have access to some healthy recipes and meal ideas for your use.  I hope you can find them helpful!  Looking for a recipe or meal idea around something specific?  Let me know!

This week’s theme is all about warming up.  All recipes will be healthy and nutritious ways to warm up now that the weather is finally turning chilly!

  • Crockpot Potato Soup: Switch out the soups for low sodium versions and the cream cheese to 1/3 less fat and you’ll have a much healthier version of this easy to make soup!
  • Creamy Crockpot White Chicken Chili: This is definitely a favorite of my household!  So filling and easy to make!
  • Crockpot Chicken Fajita Soup: I do most of our soups in the crockpot since it helps out during the busy evening hours and helps the flavors really come together!
  • Creamy Parm Tomato Soup: Super easy to make- just be sure to switch out the cream for half and half.
